Holiday Shopping at MIA

The holiday season is officially upon us! This season is usually filled with lots of shopping and traveling! What could be better than combining the two? I had the opportunity to collaborate with the ShopsatMIA, located within Miami International Airport. I stopped in a few stores to personally select my top holiday gifts ideas!

Sunglass Hut by Gate D40

Sunglass Hut has always been a favorite store of mine. I am obviously a huge fan of sunnies, I love the way they can transform any outfit. I tried on quite a few different styles while in the store, but overall the round Ray Bans were my favorites. This style has been around for some time, but the classic design is now available in more colors than ever before. Yes, please!

The Shoppes at Ocean Drive– Peace Love World & MiXX by Gate D17

The Shoppes at Ocean Drive had so many options to choose from. It had several different stores within the same area,It is a store in store concept, basically a mini shopping mall. I stopped in MiXX which had a ton of different accessories. This cashmere over-sized cardigan was my favorite pick. Besides being so soft, it was available in a ton of colors, making it the perfect gift.

Next, I made my way over to Peace Love World. PLW has been hugely popular in Miami for years now. They use the softest fabrics, which makes it ideal for those who love to travel in comfort and style. This “I love Sundays” top is the perfect gift, especially since Christmas falls on a Sunday this year. They even have a men’s line now so you can find something for everyone here!

Duty Free Americas by Gate D16

Duty Free Americas has everything from liquor to make-up, and of course it is tax free which is a great shopping incentive (even though I don’t need the encouragement). While strolling through the store, I found this Adidas sports watch and it was on a sale! I happened to be wearing Adidas sneakers so it was the perfect match, making it my holiday pick.

XpresSpa by Gate D11

XpresSpa was definitely my most relaxing stop on my shopping trip. I tried a back and neck massage and it did not disappoint. The staff here is well trained and polite, making my experience here even more pleasant. If you have to find a gift for that one person who has it all, a massage is a great idea that is sure to be a success.

Michael Kors by Gate D30

Finally, I made my way over to Michael Kors. While I have always been familiar with the brand, I have never purchased a handbag from the store before. I was pleasantly surprised by the new collection. The new styles had less logos and more leather, which is what I usually look for in a bag. I loved this cobalt blue backpack. Backpacks are everywhere this season, and this shade just adds a fun pop of color.

I hope you enjoyed my top holiday picks from the Shops at MIA. Traveling during the Holiday season can be a pain, but if you get the chance, make sure you stop by the shops and check it out!
