I’ve been so excited to write about my visit to Paris! I’ve always heard mixed reviews about the city, so I was excited to have the opportunity to experience it for myself. I loved it so much more than I thought I would!
While visiting, breakfast was my favorite meal of the day. I particularly enjoyed a small café, Le Petit Cardinal, that served the traditional french breakfast. (Croissant included!) The food was both delicious and affordable. The Latin Quarters are another must-see area in Paris. They’re located near the Notre Dame, and look like an alley from the distance. Inside there are tons of restaurants, bars and shops. This narrow area is high-energy and always buzzing.
If you’ve never been to Paris, I definitely suggest stopping by all the “tourist” spots. While I am never a fan of taking the touristy route, they are just too beautiful to miss. I especially loved the Champs-Élysées where I stopped and gave into my macaroon craving. (So good!) I visited the Eiffel Tower twice, once during the day and the other at night. If you have the time, I totally recommend doing both. There is something special about enjoying the sunshine and fresh-air while visiting during the day. But at night, it is a totally different experience; I recommend grabbing a bottle of wine and drinking it under the illuminated tower. Plus, the tower “glitters” for 5 minutes every hour. Truly a breath-taking view.
Such a beautiful city, I cannot wait to come back. (Maybe next time with cooler weather..)
