I just arrived back home after two and a half weeks in Europe. The idea for the trip began after my best friend and I were invited to a friend’s wedding in Stockholm, Sweden. We decided to take the opportunity to visit some new places. Over the next two weeks, I’ll be posting photos, outfits and details on the blog.
Our first stop was Stockholm for the wedding. We were so excited to to finally start the trip. Unfortunately, we were stuck right in the middle of the Delta Airlines hot-mess. Our original flight was scheduled from Miami to NYC to Stockholm. We were delayed and redirected everywhere- from London to Amsterdam. To no one’s surprise, our luggage was lost. After some extreme persistence and some good-hearted people, our luggage was finally located.
After that small bump in the road, we were able to enjoy our time in Stockholm. If you are planning on visiting, don’t be fooled by the “summer” months. The air is crisp and cool, especially for us Miami kids. I definitely recommend a jacket of some sorts.
Our first night, we ate at a trendy roof-top restaurant, Dramaten Terrassen, located in the downtown area. The view was incredible and we watched the sunset as we ate. The food was delicious and we were able to sample traditional Swedish dishes.
Our final day was my favorite, by far. We woke up early and headed to the “Old Town.” There we saw unique buildings, shops, and restaurants. I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Stockholm. There is tons of history and it is SO beautiful. The wedding took place in the late afternoon. The weather was absolutely perfect: the air was crisp and the sun was shinning. I wore a For Love and Lemons dress with simple nude heels. You can shop all my looks below!
My following post will be about our next stop, Paris!
